| If Anybody Knew
Holding in a place with a stature plain and small, keeping from the green to turn brown, red and tall. Interests rising up in a way we'd never guessed, it's like we understood everything and always spoke our best. If anybody knew, I thought it was you. The flowers they all bloom with the golden oak and spruce, summer takes a turn things only seem to get worse. I never could come back like the leaves fall every year, I know you took me all the same and you took away my fear. If anybody knew I thought it was you. Hold the apple to your lips, hold on to the disgrace. You knew that it would come just as fast as the pain. Keep your face far from mine and I think we'll be alright. You must know I'm not doing fine but I won't give up the fight. © 2008 ASCAP Karli Fairbanks Music |
